Mr. Gillespie, Co-Founder and Principal of APG, is also the Managing General Partner of Compensation Strategies Group.  (Csg-tx.net) CSG has 65+ employees and is actively servicing 45,000+ lives in qualified and non-qualified retirement plans in addition to 1,200+ direct individual clients.

Mr. Gillespie brings his 40+ years of management experience, operational expertise and strategic leadership to APG.

Mr. Gillespie continues to remain involved with CSG developing, expanding and refining the company’s back office to more efficiently serve the client base and their advisors.  The platform has earned Mr. Gillespie a well-respected national reputation as an expert in compliance and regulatory matters leading to numerous major scholastic and charitable institutions as clients.

Prior to, Mr. Gillespie created, developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing program and operational procedures for an internet-based financial services company in the 1990’s.  He began his career as a brokerage manager for a Wall Street financial services company with oversight and supervisory responsibilities for 500+ brokers. 

Mr. Gillespie is a frequent speaker on legal and tax issues for CPA groups but finds his most rewarding work with the Red Cross for which he received the Lifetime Exceptional Volunteer Award and the National Clara Barton Volunteer Leadership Honor Award.
