Corwin (Cory) Zass is the Founder and Strategic Director of Actuarial Risk Management (ARM), established in 2006. Over the past seven years, he has led ARM’s evolution from a pure advisory firm into a managed actuarial services platform that connects senior actuaries with a nearshore KPO modeling team in Argentina, powered by an adaptive, technology‑enabled toolkit—now recognized as one of the industry’s leading frameworks for actuarial delivery.
With more than 30 years of experience advising insurers and reinsurers on risk, capital, and financial reporting across multiple standards, Cory’s career spans leadership as Chief and Appointed Actuary, auditing actuary for three of the top eight global accounting firms, and regulatory (state) senior actuary on the examination of actuarial balance sheets of four top 30 insurance companies, and a long-term consulting actuary.
He also successfully directed the nearly impossible operational wind‑down of 777 Re under Bermuda Monetary Authority oversight.
A holistic visionary, Cory is known for creating solutions others do not yet see—anticipating industry shifts and transforming them into practical, enduring advantage. ARM reflects that vision: independent, technically rigorous, commercially astute, and relentlessly focused on client outcomes.
Actuarial Risk Management (ARM) brings unparalleled actuarial expertise, successful collaboration, and cost-effective solutions to an ever-growing global client list. Our proven risk optimization business model is no longer the alternative but today’s mainstream choice as more organizations seek independent, practical advisory and creative solutions.
