Corwin (Cory) Zass is the Founder and Strategic Director of Actuarial Risk Management (ARM), established in 2006. Over the past seven years, he has led ARM’s evolution from a pure advisory firm into a managed actuarial services platform that connects senior actuaries with a nearshore KPO modeling team in Argentina, powered by an adaptive, technology‑enabled toolkit—now recognized as one of the industry’s leading frameworks for actuarial delivery.  

With more than 30 years of experience advising insurers and reinsurers on risk, capital, and financial reporting across multiple standards, Cory’s career spans leadership as Chief and Appointed Actuary, auditing actuary for three of the top eight global accounting firms, and regulatory (state) senior actuary on the examination of actuarial balance sheets of four top 30 insurance companies, and a long-term consulting actuary.

He also successfully directed the nearly impossible operational wind‑down of 777 Re under Bermuda Monetary Authority oversight.
